AIMS Members

AIMS is a joint venture between Austbrokers and IBNA. In addition to the benefits outlined in the IBNA document the additional value AIMS adds are outlined below:

• First class PI programme with significant limits, broadest cover  and highly competitive premiums.
• Currently negotiating over-riders on entire premium volume. A significant proportion of this is returned to members with remainder covering AIMS' costs and the services AIMS provides.
• Higher rates of commission for AIMS network members.
• Access to Bus Pak, Personal Home and Motor products which are negotiated on broadest wording and most attractive terms and conditions. AIMS is currently developing an ISR, Liability and Travel products on similar basis.
• Annual AIMS Convention, next year at Coolum QLD. Over 500 delegates are expected with a first class programme planned over 4 days.
• National AIMS training provided on Products, Broking Skills and Workshops on specific needs.
• AIMS network consists of additional 40 Austbrokers brokerages making a total of 120 placing 2 billion in total premium into the Insurance market. This provides unprecedented market clout and access to network facilities such as Underwriting Agencies, Credit Insurance, Professional Lines and Life, Salary Continuance and Super specialists.
• Only network/cluster group that provides a workable and attractive succession plan model
• Developed(ing) Strategic Alliances for the purchase/provision of Premium Funding, Audit, Compliance, Legal, Banking, Travel and Accommodation etc.
• Annual State Conferences and Regional/Cluster Committees which deal with local issues, training etc.
